Where is the admin account in Windows 7?

I have a laptop with Windows 7 on it. I am the only user on it. I went into the control panel and found my account, it says administrator, yet I am getting permission denied at trying to look at some logs. I don't even see a means of adding an administrator account. I read somewhere else, admin was disable by default, how do I enable it? Thanks

halaakajan Member Posts: 167Edit Local Users and Groups > Add Password for the Administrator account then enable it. Or as YFZblu said just run as admin a program or feature which you want.

Just an additional layer of security. Logging in as root/administrator isn't generally not a good idea.Fantastic. The project manager is inspired.
