Regarding Raid 0: Striping or Stripping?

Regarding Raid 0: Striping or Stripping?

I have seen it both ways. is it with one or two p's?

And Pronunciation: Striping (like stripes and colors on a flag) or

Stripping ( like a female stripping off her clothes)

I think it is not the later, but not sure. Anybody?

    Well, using my patented Google virtual dictionary I come to the following conclusion:

    > 150.000 sites with 'striping'
    < 100.000 sites with 'stripping'

    It defintely is 'striping' and it's pronounced like the stripe in a flag. The other thing would sure make a good laugh though icon_wink.gif
