Hi Guys,
I'm just looking to start my MS certification journey and was looking at the MCITP as a good starting point but i've read that MS are retiring the MCITP already in favour of returning to the MCSE.
Does anybody know whether you can still doing the inidividual exams and still gain the TS certification? Do they count towards an MCSE after July 2013?
Many thanks,
Dean

EDIT: It looks as though only the MCITP: EA/SA are the only ones pushed back. -

Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
For most MCITP titles, they have been replaced by an MCSA title. MCITP:EDST and DA are replaced by MCSA: Windows 7, while MCITP:SA is replaced by MCSA Windows Server 2008. -

The 70-646 es will still be available but unless they have made adjustments to the exam there is quite a bit of info from the 70-643 on the 646 exam.No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives.
