Honestly mate, you need to work on your English more than your dba skills. Effective communication is probably the most valuable skill.

It wont hurt to have an example or two, you can talk more on the subject as you go in the interview.

My English is fine. What I meant is that can I create a database by itself without creating a small app with it? I really want to get into the database field and I am serious of pursuing a career as a database administrator

More the better, impress them as much as you can, blow their socks off. Sometimes enthusiasm can make the difference between an offer and a rejection. I took a nice Visio of my lab to 2 interviews and went into detail about how I set it up and what I do with it and guess what, both companies offered me the job.

I cant really be a software developer because I hate of sitting at the computer writing code for software for 8 hours. I went on interview for many software developer positions and I got rejected so many times due to my lack of experience. So I figure that I should work towards becoming a database developer/admin because I know databases more than writing software programs like creating tables, and writing queries.

If you arent in any type of IT related employment yet, I'd suggest you take any gig that comes along. Keep in mind that no one is going to let you play with their databases if you havent had relevant commercial experience. Work your way up and you'll get to where you want to be. If you are already employed or have some experience, work on a cert or two to show your interest in databases. Do anything to help you land that job.

Only experience I had is through couple of school projects and one internship where I would design a database, using normalization techniques, and enter data manually

Yep, grab ANY gig that comes along. Work on a cert or two, something that will trump the other candidates.
