Security+ Scheduled 3/23
Mostly using Darril's book and some professor messor videos.
taking the practice tests my real problem seems to be with remembering the common ports So I'm going to be working with flash cards of those.
currently I'm stuck at scoring low 90's/100 on practice tests however a few of those are usually about the ports. I figure scheduling the test would give me the push I need to fill in my gaps in knowledge.
I'm also planning on reading through the book again before the test just to help burn the material into my mind.
study materials:
Darril's book
Darril's android app
professor messor.
Wish me luck! And any tips are appreciated.

Ports are one of the funny topics. Sometimes people know them all by heart don't get any port questions and sometimes people don't study them that much and end up getting several port questions.

Btw I got like 5 "simulations" only 1 of them was a "real" sim that asked me to config a WAP..other then that they were interactive.
make sure you know the terms because the questions will use them whenever possible.
