Odd issue with ping and dns on a clients wifi.

When pinging the wireless router it worked fine tell you tried to ping off the subnet then it would changed the IP to that of the router. Same thing was happening with DNS what was odd was they all came back good but the unit was unplugged from the internet.

    Just had something like that happen on my lab network. Are you using a bridged connection? That caused me to show the IP of one side of the bridge rather than the IP of the host I was trying to hit
