Hi Guys,
I have been currently looking for jobs for the last 2 weeks. Hoping for a desktop support position, but if no luck, I will take helpdesk. When browsing through the job descriptions, there are names of technologies and software that the position is asking for Ex: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Blackberry, Exchange Server - Lotus Notes, MS Office etc..
Ofcourse I have heavy experience with some, very light experience with others, and never touched a few, in my case Lotus Notes, Blackberry. With that said, my question is:
- Do all/most IT jobs (specifically help desk/desktop support) provide training?? or are you expected to know all of the job description and just put to work from day one?
I'm just trying to land a job, and I was curious about this..
