What Microsoft cert should i go for?

hello everyone,

I am currently volunteering at an IT remote support company and I am thinking about taking a Microsoft course. i am at entry level, can anyone advise me on what cert i should go for?

It really depends on what Microsoft OS you are working with, how much actual hands on time you get at work and if you can set up a lab environment at home. You aren't going to pass any Microsoft exam via book study alone, you will need a plethora of hands on labs to really help with your knowledge. If you are working primarily with Server 2008, then maybe start with 70-640 or 70-642 but if you have no experience, maybe start with A+ or Network+ to get your feet wet so to speak on the certification process. Microsoft tests are not for the weak of heart...
