On the 2003 equivalent to the 647 each of the case studies were scored individually and the questions were also scored. The lowest score was taken as your score on the test. Can anyone comment on how scoring is done for the 647? I'm not sure if that is NDA material or not but getting 700 on a lot of case studies and like 20 questions would be extremely rough.

I dont think you'd be scored out of a 1000 on each case study simply because one case study only has 4-5 questions. It's more like a scenario rather than a case study. They give you a scenario and you got to figure out what to use and why. I had 3 goes at the test and by the 3rd time it felt like the scenarios were easier than the 20 questions at the end. Good luck for tomorrow! I dont think you'll have time to read this.

tbgree00 Member Posts: 553 ■■■■□□□□□□Thanks for responding Essendon! I remember hating the 2003 version of this test because the case studies were individual exams that you couldn't review and couldn't go back on. Then at the end if you failed one you had to do it all over again. Much like the 649 was actually.
Right now I'm just hoping to get lucky and be able to figure out the best answer from the questions. I have little clue how to study so I'm reviewing IPv6, rewatching and reading about the system center tools James Conrad talked about in the CBT Nuggets, and reviewing trusts and PKI. I'm sure there's a ton more stuff I need to know. I hope that I get lucky on this one but i have Second Shot just in case.I finally started that blog - www.thomgreene.com
