Mcdst

Is it still possible to earn this certification? I see the web page is still alive, but am unable to tell if the exams have been retired. Though I am aware of the 2014 phase for XP, I am curious if you guys think this cert would hold any weight? While rare, I do still see it from time to time on job postings.

The exam is no longer available. It is a good cert, but the MCITP: Enterprise support technician is much better to have at this point.

Retired exams

Both exams retired on June 30, 2011.

yea that is the windows 7 version of the exam.

I got the MCDST prior to it retiring. I thought it was a very good cert, and it got me a MCP, but in the 2 years or so I've had it, I have seen "MCDST" listed on maybe 3 job ads
