Pushing route back another month
I was going to take route at the end of march but I feel like I still need more time. I need to dive into bgp and ipv6 more. Anyone else taking route in April?

DexterPark Member Posts: 121Yeah, I moved mine to the 6th. I have failed it twice by a small margin each time. I know the sims very well by now but the questions... I just can't believe how bad I got spanked in OSPF and the Branch Office Interconnect thing at the end. I will take it and pass on the 6th no more BS, I am sick of this test and want to tackle TSHOOT. Good luck dude, if you want we can study together. My advice to anyone looking to advance their career would be to learn DevOps tools and methodologies. Learn how to write code in languages like Python and JavaScript. Not to be a programmer, but a network automation specialist who can do the job of 10 engineers in 1/3 of the time. Create a GitHub account, download PyCharm, play with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. Automation isn't the future, it's here today and the landscape is changing dramatically.

Good luck!CCIE Sec: Starting Nov 11 -

Good luck!
Is that what it takes to get certified nowadays?! -

I have mine scheduled for May 10th but have been so busy building a house / moving out of my current place. It has cut into my studies A LOT!Currently Studying: IE Stuff...kinda...for now...

razar Member Posts: 65 ■■□□□□□□□□Originally booked mine in November last year, but when it came to it I was nowhere near ready, so now have it booked for end of May. Still a bit weak on IPv6 so going to be working on that and OSPF mainly. Use BGP and EIGRP at work so i'm a bit more familiar with those.
Good luck all. -
Danielh22185 Member Posts: 1,195 ■■■■□□□□□□Ya I think those are my weakest topics as well. IPv6 because there is a lot new, and OSPF because there are SOO MANY items to remember with LSA types, Areas, and network types.Currently Studying: IE Stuff...kinda...for now...
