any non-ECC motherboards supporting IPMI?

Anyone build a machine using non-ECC memory with IPMI? It seems alot of motherboards require ECC memory. I have a ton of desktop memory buring a hole on my desk. IPMI is a must. CPU if it matters is an Intel E3-1230v2.
