Resinstall/restore subscriber in a cluster

Our subscriber is suffering from bug CSCti52867. The file system check repairs errors but we are still experiencing the read-only file system. We can ssh into sub but there is no prompt to enter commands. None of the services are started so there is no web interface. Firmware update cd updated firmware to 3.6 but problem still exists.
We have successful backups from pub.
Can someone point me in the direction of how to reinstall/restore sub after hardware failure? This is the first time I've ever had to work with dr, so kinda nervous. Any help is appreciated.
P.S. Our smartnet expired and is in the process of being renewed

UC Corner: Make a non-bootable ISO image bootable

Yes, that's how we were able to run the file system check.
We have all cd's. According to the bug report, "a reinstall/restore might be the only solution". I was just hoping that wasnt the case and someone had a magic pill that I could take to make the boogie man go away. -

Thanks for link. How much of a restore is necessary? I mean, won't pub update sub accordingly? -

I know you are out of smart net, but you will need to find the bootable media and re install the software.Currently Reading
