EIGRP metric; RD or AD?

what's the official term of it:

RD: Reported Distance

AD: Advertised Distance

I keep reading different terms in different sources.
Goal 2013: CCENT (x); CCNA(x); Security+(x); ITIL Foundation ( )

Same thing. It's very confusing to people new to Cisco, especially when AD is also Administrative Distance (mostly unrelated).

Remember that the RD/AD is the metric from the point of view of your neighbor's route table. I prefer RD to avoid the confusion.
