need some advice

i consider myself an above average computer user.i have built a couple of p4 pc's and i have put together a peer to peer network at home which i know is nothing more than running the network wizard.i just signed up for a year long ccna class at my local tech college.will i be in over my head with this or do they teach you from the ground up?should i supplement my achooling with books or are the schools known for thier depth of coverage?also,what are the bare min.i will need for a home lab?

    Everyone starts out the same as you. If the class is year long... im pretty sure its an Academy class and they will start you from the beginning. The most you can do is "pre-study" by reading the common CCNA books and keep ahead. It is always easier to read what the instructor is talking about ahead of time instead of after. Then you can get the questions... during his lecture instead of a lecture later where your question may not be relevant.
