WGU: Java certs?

I plan on attending WGU in a few months and plan on focusing on Java. I would like to know what certs does the WGU courses prepare you for. I know there used to be the SJCP, and is one that I would like to get. Now that Oracle bought Sun did this change the name of the certs as well? Would one be prepared to take the SJCP equivalent?
