assistance with remote site backup
Hello everyone.
my two parents are running their own clinic. I'm looking for the most efficient way to backup their database & maybe some personal files/folders.
the network topology is really simple, just like any normal home LAN, one router, 3/4 desktops.
they are running some sort of a "CRM", the DB folder is basically shared across all computers running that CRM software. nothing too complicated here either.
What I did until now is backing up the specific DB folder with Allway Sync over SCP straight to my VPS running Linux.
I have a spare computer with few HDDs, thought of running openfiler and backup their data with snapshots.
can any of you think of a better approach to save their data in case something happens?
