Csvde/ldifde

in MCTS / MCITP on Windows 2008 General
Hi.

I'm studying for the 70 -640 test. I'm now reading the MCTS Self-Paced Training Kit (Exam 70-640) R2 and I'm reading right now importing and exporting users with CSVDE/LDIFDE. Is it really necessary to learn all of the parameters for this test?
Certifications: AZ900, SC900, AZ104, AWS-CCP, CEH. 
In Progress: CEH-Practical.
Future: Amazon Cloud Red Team Professional (ACRTP), Azure Cloud Red Team Professional (MCRTP) AWS-SysOps, CISSP, CCSP

    Know when and where they can be used. What are the pros and cons of each where functionality overlaps. A hint is LDIFDE does a lot more than just importing/exporting users and don't be surprised to find a couple related questions on the test.

    +1 That hint helps with all the MS exams. I've taken some exams where the questions looked nearly identical, except for some small tidbit that you had to find to determine the correct tool or procedure.
