Endorsement question
I will be sitting for the exam in a couple of weeks and need to ask your opinions. At work my old branch chief is CISSP certified and is the only one in the area (that I know of). The problem is his cert was set to expire recently. He didn't make the minimum cpe this past year. He hasn't received any notice saying he is de-certified or anything like that instead he has only received a notice stating his dues are due.
My question is would it be unwise to attempt having him endorse me knowing that he will officially decertify any time now? He said he's willing to attempt it if we do it soon and he hasn't received a letter/email stating change in status.
