European Online Gambling Regulations and Auditing

I had an interview today for a position with the state as an investigator for online gambling. Don't know if I got it, but I am pretty sure I'll get a second interview. That being said, it is completely new territory for myself and also the agency. They did tell me they planned to model their regulations after the EU due to the fact that they have had online gambling for a very long time. I'm hoping some of the European members could perhaps point me in the direction of the agency and their regulations for online gambling? Thanks in advance!

Anyway, there is the Remote Gambling Association which has the biggest online members which I think would be a good place to get in contact with. If the US is opening gambling like I've heard they are then these guys are going to try get market share (unless it's only your casinos that are regulated for online gambling?). Gambling in the EU. Gambling in the US.
There is the Gambling Commission in the UK which regulates all gambling in all its forms in the UK - horse racing, soccer, greyhounds, poker, bingo, whatever..
I didn't have a full read of this but it might give you a bit of information where the UK is different than EU legislation. If you didn't know the UK kind of does its own thing cause it doesn't really like the EU - they are in the EU, but opt-out of a ton of legislation. The short version is it's usually a minefield with any kind of EU legislation!
Hope this helps.. -
