Heard this term on a podcast the other day while talking about all the companies that still are using web apps that are tied to XP /IE6 and how they are scrambling, or at least should be scrambling, to get things updated before next spring when they stop releasing security patches for XP.

    Our company will not upgrade any time soon. Regardless of the support of XP (or the lack of). We have 2000+ XP machines in the company and the development of the propriatary software would cost a LOT ... Either way - these XP machines are virtual desktops in a sandbox environment without any internet connectivity ... so no one really cares about security patches.
