Problem with PuTTY

I have downloaded putty, but I am unable to type anything after the program boots up.
It says 'Hit Return To Begin", but I can't type anything
Can someone please help ?

Since this is your first posting here, I'll guess that you aren't familiar with the forum structure here. There is a forum for CCNA, which is a level below CCNP, and that forum would probably have people more ready to answer this type of question.

My first impulse was to ask a raging question about why someone going for CCNP (this is the CCNP forum) was asking how to use putty?! Then, I calmed down and realized it was just your very first post, and maybe you didn't recognize the forum structure.
