I am a little confused as how to create a server and multiple clients in virtualbox and vmware. Could someone please give me a little nudge in the right direction? I'm just starting to set up this lab so I can practice studying. If there is any online documentation on how to create this simple lab it would be greatly appreciative

I suggest installing VirtualBox and going from there. The included documentation covers the basics of virtualization and will help you get started.MentholMoose

As MentholMoose said, just install VirtualBox, then install two instances of Red Hat. That's about all you need -
