Ok so this is my first post here but I've spent quite a bit of time reading a lot of topics on here trying to gather information before I posted. So im currently a Finance major but thinking of switching and going to CIS. Computer Forensics and Network Securities is what im interested in right now. The question is how well does a CIS major do in those fields? Ive been reading that CS/ CE is better than CIS major. The issue with me switching is that im all done with my intro business classes and could go ahead and jump straight into the CIS curriculum. I really don't want to have the past year of classes and tuition be a waste by switching majors. Now how well will a CIS Major do in these fields? Will a MBA be recommended? (I plan on getting it). Is there opportunities for jobs in the IT field? It looks like its based highly on experience which I have none as of right now.
