I just received this email today from CWNP:
Dear Customer,
On July 11th we released the new Wireless LAN Administration exam (PW0-100) that covers the 2005 objectives.
We have reviewed the results of all the candidates who have attempted this new exam since we introduced it on July 11, and we have determined that some of the questions in this version of the exam were not appropriate for a foundation level exam.
Many of the questions were outside the scope of a CWNA's job function, while other questions were more relevant to our higher level exams, Wireless LAN Security (PW0-200) and Wireless LAN Analysis (PW0-205).
For these reasons, we have made adjustments to this exam so it is more relevant to the job of a wireless LAN administrator. The new version of the exam was updated at all Pearson VUE and Prometric testing centers on August 19th.
We appreciate all of the positive and negative feedback we receive from our customers about the CWNP Program. Keep it coming! We read every email, every forum post, and every exam comment in an effort to make the CWNP Program and its exams the best measurement of knowledge of wireless LANs and to help you excel in your networking career.
We wish you the best of luck on this newer version of the PW0-100 exam. If you have any questions regarding this exam voucher or this version of the exam, please do not hesitate to reply to ksandlin@cwnp.com.
Sincerely,
Kevin Sandlin,

I got the same email, does that mean the email serves as an exam voucher, like a, "sorry we screwed up" voucher?.....i remain, he who remains to be.... -
Webmaster Admin Posts: 10,292 Adminwhile they did do such a great job with the previous exam, and you basically couldn't fail after reading their book and using their practice exams. But, it's great that they listen and act upon the many comments they received. 'That' other vendor-neutral cert vendor could learn from that.
