Solicited-node Multicast Address

Hi there fellows!
I have a question regarding the Solicited-node Multicast Address in IPv6.
Isn't it a way to replace ARP from IPv4?
And if so, why is it a Multicast? Shouldn't it be a Unicast?
A plain explanation would be highly appreciated.

This is not a CCNA Security topic, however, my understanding is as follows.
Please understand that Neighbor Discovery is the replacement for ARP, however the Solicited-Node address ultimately plays a part.
