Perquisites for 70-270

I want to learn more of the Windows XP OS system.

Are there any perquisites to 70-270 that will make the material easier to learn? (Eg. 70-290)

No, 70-270 is basically the entry level cert into the MCSA/MCSE track. 70-290 (Windows 2003 Server) usually comes after 270, i.o.w. most people start with the client.

I have taken almost all the courses for the MCSE and will be taking the 270 exam soon and it would be a good idea to take and pass the tests for the Comptia A+ and Net+. It's a good idea to get your feet wet and then move on to bigger and better (and more difficult) things.
