batch file backup
jrotes
Does anyone know how to redirect the total file count copied to a log file. I have a customer who has an Iomega REV drive. Instead of using their software, I set up a batch file to back up their system. She wants to be reassured that all files are being backed up. I figured if I could come up with a total count of files being copied, I will keep her happy and off my ass!
Thanks in advance.

USe NT backup, Im pretty sure that gives you a file count. If not I know that ARCserve and Tivoli do, thats what I use. NT backup is free though
