Hello!! I'm new to techexams.net and was recommended from a family member. For the last 6 years I have been working in Food Manufacturing working as supervisor of a production room. I've been working in this industry since high school merely as a job to help pay the bills but my passion is in IT. I'm not afraid to work hard and I love to learn, my interests lie in computer hardware and in security. I am currently studying for A+ Certification and am mentoring under the head of the IT department of my current job learning C# as a hobby. I am looking for advice on how to transition out of my field and into the field that I love and how to gain more experience. I am currently looking for jobs along the area of help/desktop support. :D

I think the A+ cert is a great place to start. I say hurry up and get the cert, update your resume and start applying. Don't expect to make big bucks out the door.
