Doing a practice test on the Pearson software that came with Odom's 100-101. It shows a diagram, Host A to SW1 to the default gateway G1/0 R1, from G2/0 R1 to SW2 to G2/0 R3 then on to some other devices and a server that I don't think relate to this question.
One of the multiple choice options is "R1 would encapsulate a frame including R3's G2/0 MAC address in the process of forwarding this traffic.".
R1 would remove the frames header/trailer and replace it, so wouldn't the new frame contain the destination MAC address of R3's G2/0?
