memory report
Is there software out there that will collect and report how much memory is in each system on the network plus the type and amount in each bank. I'm looking to get this info off a couple thousand computers without looking in each one. TIA

Someone may be able to offer a better way, but you could use PsInfo, then just write a script which will scan each machine on your network. This is assuming that you have a default account on each machine, however, such as some Admin account.
This only reports the amount of RAM though, not the type and amount in each slot. -

Another similar hardware analysis tool is Sandra (System ANalyser, Diagnostic and Reporting Assistant):

Good stuff highly recommended.Who knows what evil lurks in the heart of technology?... The Shadow DO
