Questions regarding Exchange 2013

Need help from exchange gurus.. Learning about exchange for the first time ever and decided to install 2013. Installation went well until I tried sending a email out to a internal user that i created. It went straight to the draft folder. Is there anything else I have to set up to send emails internally?

Did you check your firewall on your server, try turning off the firewall temporarly to determine if that's the problem.

The email should leave the outbox and go to the sent box. Try it from owa and see if there is an issue there and report back
