VMWare vs AWS/OpenStack, what do you think will happen?

How do you guys see virtualization going over the next 5 or 10 years? Do you think VMWare is still going to be dominant platform, do you think there will be a more level playing field spread across VMware, MS HyperV, Xen, AWS, OpenStack, or do you thing VMWare might go the way of Novell Netware?
