HEY~
Thank you for your time.
Simple question, I have CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ already and I may be getting Security+ by the end of this week.
I have roughly heard these can go toward your MCSA or other microsoft certification. I heard your CompTIA A+ PLUS Net+ = EXAM 70-217.
Well I was going to take 70-270 exam to get my MCP. I only want MCP for right now and maybe more later....But the question is, what is the smartest way to, and if, I can apply my certifications I have toward a MCP? Hope this makes sense.
Also, I heard MCDST was going away, but would anyone give some advice if I should take the 70-270 or the 70-271+70-272? Which ones are more difficult?
I am just trying to plan the right path and if someone could take 5 mins and inform me of what they did or what the Wished they did...that would be awesome!

Ricka182 Member Posts: 3,359MCDST is not going anywhere, it was just released. It is also used as an elective towards MCSA. Alternativly, you can use your Comptia A+ / Net+ as an elective for MCSA, but not MCSE. Sec+ counts as an elective for both. You can get Comptia credit for M$ certs here. By doing this, you would NOT have the MCP status. You need to actually pass a M$ exam to receive MCP.i remain, he who remains to be....
