CISSP (Associate) - Is it worth it?
Hey Guys,
I am looking to break in the security field, and I'm wondering if its worth going for the CISSP to get the associate label. I just passed the Sec+, and hope to sit for the CCNA Sec within the next two months, then possibly going for the CISSP. Is there any value in taking the CISSP without the experience? I changed careers about a year ago, so I only have 1 year of IT experience under my belt, NOC Engineer I which was more helpdesk than anything else, and now I'm currently a Systems Architect I, which is a bogus title... I'm more of a sales engineer. Anyways I'd love some thoughts on the CISSP Associate label, and if anyone has had any luck with breaking into security with the CISSP and little IT experience.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

I'm half kidding, but this cert really opened some doors for me.
But I had sys admin experience to compliment the Associate title. -
