Hello all, I have my exam scheduled for this Sunday (ive postponed exam twice already -_-) but this time, I feel confident. Anyway I hear that show commands is a big part of the exam, i have a list of some show commands that I got from somewhere else, wondering if anyone can add to it, Thanks!

show mac address-table
show ip protocols
show ip route
show cdp neighbors
show cdp neighbors detail
show cdp interface
show running-config
show version
show cdp entry * protocol ( is a nice one)
show inventory gives you the contents of the router
show users tells you who has telneted
show caller user show ppp connection
show environment shows the fans
show platform shows the memory
show line relates to telnet users
show diag show all the hardware
show controller shows E1 T1 ethernet controllers

sigsoldier Member Posts: 136 ■■■□□□□□□□That looks like a pretty good list. I'd add the "show controllers" to the top list and focus more on those. If you know the output for each, you shouldn't have any problems.
