Any tips for passing 702?

Hi guys, I'm new to this website. I just took the 701 and passed with a 693!!

I feel that I was more prepared for the 701 than I am for the 702. I had 2 classes in my school that were about the A+, but I took them about a year ago. I also read through Jean Andrews Comptia A+ 2009. Our school also gives us free access to measureup quizzes.

I was getting good scores on the practice 701 and not so much the 702. Then again, I only have about 4 questions from the practice exams that were on the actual A+. I am taking the 702 tomorrow.

Does anyone have any key points that I should focus on for the 702? I am going to go over the study guideline's today and take some more tests before tomorrow.

Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the forums and congratulations on the pass. The biggest thing when doing practice test questions is to make sure you know why the correct answers are correct and why the incorrect answers are incorrect. You won't see the exact same questions, but if you understand the content, you'll be able to answer the questions correctly.

Yeah thanks for the advice.

I ended up passing the 702 with a 775

I feel that the 702 was easier than the 701. I just did some last minute crams with some professor messor videos going over printers, as well as practice questions from various sites. Next step will be the Network+ next month!

Hi Zach, what online tools/apps are you using? I've been using Messer's videos since I just can't get myself through Mike Meyers' book. Since I'm going on vacation next week, I want to be able to keep learning through my iPhone/Mac/Kindle...
