This November i am starting a 8 months class in Boston University for Desktop Support Specialist so on the end of the class which is next June i will be certified. Now i already passed A+ core and the question is should i go ahead and spend my money on A+ and N+ or this certficate from BU will be enough.

how much is this program costing you? If it's 8 months long I would imagine it's not cheap. I would be relunctant to pay much for a desktop support 8 month program especially when help desk people start out making very little money. You can probably get your MCDST by studying on your own. I would say get your A+, Network+, and possibly your MCDST. I'm not sure an 8 month desktop support program is necessary.

I would also recco going for A+/Net+ yourself. BU, as well as most other major schools overcharge for what you learn. I think you're getting more out of the name of the school than you would the education. Also, the MCDST has an available FREE course from M$. If you were to combine A+/Net+ with MCDST, you would have much more money in your pocket IMO.
i remain, he who remains to be....
