Shooting for 70-410, and I am hearing all the books are insuffecient. Having never tried an exam without a good book, this leaves me nervous.

Keep seeing people reccoment using Technet, never done that. Any advice?

Looked at this thread,
http://www.techexams.net/forums/mcsa-mcse-windows-2012-general/88247-70-410-resources.html

do you just go down the items one by one? lab where available?

Thanks for any info!

I would go with: CBT Nuggets videos + Technet + Kaplan Selftestsoftware access for 30 days.

CBT nuggets will give you a good overview, Technet will give you enough depth of material and Selftessoftware will measure your ability to pass the exam.

You need to combine TechNet with something else, at least if you're new to it, IMO. TechNet is not comprehensive, and for some of the topics they only describe architecture or conceptual info without going into the step-by-step specifics of how to set something up. I've been using CBT Nuggets so far, and am thinking of getting the Stanek book.
