Passed CCENT a year or so ago. I know I am going to have to get back to subneting in my head but how much review of ICND1 should I do if any?

You should know all the ICND1 topics well! The CCNA builds on the CCENT, and besides, when you actually try to seek out jobs or raises based on that CCNA, they're going to expect you to have the full knowledge of one. Similarly, I needed to review the CCNA topics when seeking my CCNP, and I reviewed the CCNP topics before pushing towards CCIE. Onwards and upwards! :)

If you use the Cisco Press books by Odom, he references the CCENT topics during the ICND2 topics. They are grey shaded areas in the reading. It is nice to do reviews when you study. Additionally, he is telling you that you should know the CCENT material while prepping for ICND2. Cisco material is just like anything else. You get a solid foundation and then build upon that. If you do not have a strong foundation, you will not completely understand the higher level material.
