Hi Everybody,
I can't find a definition of Link Type Shared in ICND2. I don't get the impression that it is very important. But I am curious anyways. Google Searches are not much help. Is there a simple definition?
Thanks

In this situation, you get an RSTP backup port. You don't see these very often. A backup port backs up a designated port - that is that both ports have to be connected to the same segment. Again, it would be a hub-type scenario.Current objective: CCNA Security
