Alright,
I'm studying for the Linux+
I'm using openSuSE
I'm trying to do the quotas. I changed the /etc/fstab file and included "usrquota" and "grpquota" in the "/" line. SuSE didn't have the "quotacheck" so I had to install "quota" using zypper.
After that, everything broke. I rebooted SuSE and it stopped at:
[ 7.834081] systemd-kmsg-syslogd[431]: Filed to write log message to kmsg: Invalid argument
I have no idea whats going on. I tried to google it with my not so awesome ninja google skills and I didn't come up with anything.
I have snapshots of the image but I'm trying to get through the lab for quotas and it's not really working out. This is the second time that I've been trying to work on quotas, where things got messed up after I installed "quota".

We need to know what that invalid argument is to figure out what's wrong. Post the lines from the error log and your fstab.
