Took 701 in Dec 2011. Havent taken 702. Issues?

I took my 701 in December of 2011. I passed it then got a job a few days later so never came around to take the 702.
Is there a time frame I have to complete both of these by to get certified?
I know 702 is being retired at the end of August. Can I still take it before then and be certified?

Shouldn't see why not, just try and do it before 31st August 2013
