IEEE Ethernet Standards
How well do you need to know ALL the various flavors of ethernet? I've got the standard 10BaseT, 100BaseT, and 1000BaseT downpat including all the various fiber ones up to 1000Mbps, but towards the 10GBase range, there just seems to be soooooo many different versions with different specifications. Are you really expected to know all the minute details of these, such as connector types, distance, etc? Or are you just responsible for the basic ones that I listed at the beginning?
