My company network is such that my my boss network has a default gateway that points to the internet but my computer's default gateway can only access the intranet. If I change my default gateway to that of my superior's I can access the internet.
Does anyone know how the network is segmented? Is it possible that there are 2 routers?

Where your boss went wrong was not putting the "Proletariat" vs. "Bourgeoisie" on separate VLANs. -
