in CCNA & CCENT
Hello
I am starting the track to obtain the CCNA certification, I have a question regarding age and how older folks are viewed in the CCNA world, I am turning 50 yo in about three months. Is it worth it to get the CCNA or would one be considered too old for the networking world. Any feedback would be great.
Thanks

MrXpert Member Posts: 586 ■■■□□□□□□□You're never too old to learn something new, different or to enhance your knowledge. My advice is to go for it as it will help you on many levels including getting a new IT job, promotion or just plain doing it because you enjoy it. You already have Microsoft credentials right? so anything more will certainly give you more exposure.I'm an Xpert at nothing apart from remembering useless information that nobody else cares about.

I am already 35+ and I have just 4 yrs exp in pharma sales. I am from India. Can I get a job?
Problem is in India they always require an engineering or technical degree. Plus age is also a big factor. My pharma sales exp will come to no use. Pls tell me will ccna be useless for me? Bcoz even ccnp or ccie jobs or training centers in India require engineering degree.
