Why don't web browsers play well with Teredo?

1. When I nslookup the name of a site with an IPv6 address only, I see their quad-A (IPv6) record, no problems.
2. When I ping that site, the ping goes over IPv6, no problems.
3. When I open that website in IE/Firefox/Chrome using their IPv6 address, I see the website, again no problems.
4. When I open that website using its name, none of my browsers work!

NetworkVeteran Member Posts: 2,338 ■■■■■■■■□□It just seems odd that the makers of Windows and/or web browsers did not handle this case. I can see preferring a 'native' interface over tunnel interfaces, but if the tunnel interface is the only choice, it should be taken.
