So I have opted for the self-study route, but I do not have 2 years of actual work experience. I'm going to be a senior this upcoming semester, finishing my Bachelor's degree in IT Security. I also have Security+ and 6 months of ongoing interning experience in cyber security.
I've been reading that people just send documents and explaining this information and can get the experience waved off. People have also been saying that they haven't heard of any people being denied. But I emailed EC-Council and they said I must have 2 years of work experience... Does anybody know more about this or have personally been able to wave off the experience??
Please help me!
