    Hi all,
    297 looks like design and 298 looks like security exams....

    So which one is the best to do? Has anyone done both?

    Does each exam lead to another certification after MCSE?

    One's not really better than the other - it just depends if you'd rather focus on AD or security. You will need 298 if you want the Security specialization. If you do 298, you will also need 299, and another MS security elective, such as ISA server, or you can throw in the Security+ cert, which is what I did.

    Regarding the original post, is there a reason you're taking this before 290/294? 297 isn't that difficult from what I've heard, but those two would definitely get you more prepared.

    Its an easy exam, the only difference is that you have to read the questions in a case study,
