Ismaeljrp Member Posts: 480 ■■■□□□□□□□First, once I've learned the concepts I start creating my own topologies and just start implementing everything I've learned. That way I can practice all configs and commands.
Second, I bought the 101 Labs for the CCNA on Kindle ( only $5 ). You can check out free ccna workbook. It's a great site with lots of free labs covering almost every topic. -
DoubleNNs Member Posts: 2,015 ■■■■■□□□□□The CCENT for Dummies book was very command line oriented. I just followed along w/ the book and did all the exercises they recommended.
I put a lot of time, thought, and effort into finding lab workbooks to use for the ICND1. It took forever, but I finally got some. Didn't end up using any of them in the end tho, and still passed the exam on my first go with a decent score.
I think playing around w/ different topologies should be good enough. I did a lot of messing around in GNS3 and PT. I also made sure I knew all my show commands and CDP. I also wrote notes on how to do certain configs (DHCP, DNS, PPP authentication, RIP, etc)Goals for 2018:
